New Russian flag project – is an attempt to create a new dynamic interactive design and a rethinking of contemporary identity of state symbols. Smooth unity of colour is not just the use of static historical imperial symbols of merchant fleet - it is an example of designing a new modern dynamic symbol. The gradual blending of the Russian tricolour gives a flag colour that becomes an identity of the new triune space. The mixing process results in a purple colour, similar in its character with the extremity of the colour spectrum. Mixing the colours constitutes a performance that follows the rhythm of the presidential elections.
