Bernaskoni

Place memorial involves placing cylinders in the town on appearing void spaces (destroyed monuments, territory in dispute etc). The monument is replaced by a black cube confined in the transparent cylinder. The cube –  information space –  the “black box” –  the museum of the Place. The cylinder –  the symbol of time –  the space of time. The Place Memoria form optically shifts from the cylinder to the cube. In the daytime, the surface of the cylinder is mirror-like, and the surface of the cube lets light pass inside.​
