Masterplan NEW HOLLAND SUMMER was developed by BERNASKONI architectural bureau in collaboration with Iris Foundation. The founder and the leader of the bureau Boris Bernaskoni claims that we are witnessing the end of the 300 years of obscurity. This is proven by the fact that during the first three days after the official opening New Holland attracted 15 thousand visitors. Boris says:“As architects we approached the architectural heritage of the New Holland island by embedding the smaller contemporary objects.” The architect is certain that the character of existing buildings of the New Holland island should be retained. The Dutch atmosphere is created by a group of the sea containers and the number of unique events taking place in the next few months. According to Bernaskoni during the winter season the visitors will be able to enjoy the traditional Dutch ice skating.

Архитектор уверен в том, что облик старой архитектуры Новой Голландии должен сохранится. Сейчас голландская атмосфера поддержана морскими контейнерами и программой, которая будет проходить в ближайшие несколько месяцев. По словам Бернаскони зимой здесь можно будет традиционно «по-голландски» покататься на коньках.
